1. In 1993, NCSA Mosiac was created by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), a unit of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the first popular graphical web browser and the worlds first popular web browser. In 1994, a company called Mosiac Communications was created and employed many of the creators of NCSA Mosiac to create a new web browser called Mosiac Netscape to over-rule NCSA Mosiac as the most popular browser. Mosiac Netscape took over within the next 4 months of releasing and changed there name to Netscape Communications. Netscape Communications realized that the web needed to be more dynamic so they adding coding to their browser to compete with other web browsers. JavaScript was then born, created by Brendan Eich in 10 days.
